THE 44TH GENERAL ASSEMBLY
The United Nations General Assembly was formed in 1945. It is the primary organ through which representatives of different countries discuss new policies and current issues. In the Assembly, the votes of all countries carry the same weight.
The year is 1989. The 44th session of the General Assembly calls 100 member states to discuss three major issues:
1. The convention on the prohibition of weapons of mass destruction
2. Proxy-wars, effects of the cold war on the global alliance
3. Space race and laws
