Since its establishment in 1964, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) has been at the forefront of fostering collective and equitable economic growth. In CPSSMUN 2023 we are pleased to announce that delegates will act as trade experts, engaging in passionate debates and strategic negotiations as they traverse the complex junction of politics, economics, and ethics. This committee will focus on three main topics concerning the UNCTAD in recent decades: "State-Sanctioned Anti-Competitive Business Practices", "Confidence in the US Petrodollar System and Its Global Impact" as well as "Chinese Aggressive Foreign Policy through its Belt and Road Initiative". As delegates the decisions made within the chambers of the UNCTAD will have long-lasting impacts forever changing the global landscape of trade and international relations. So we encourage delegates to join us at CPSSMUN 2023 to draft solutions fostering fair trade, economic growth, and global cooperation, as we collectively strive for a more equitable economic future under the UNCTAD banner.
